2015: A year of travel in the life of Kim.

Hi guys! My name is Kim Charters – born and raised in Michigan…but set on a mission to see the world. 2015 was a year jam-packed with incredible destinations and crossing things off of my bucketlist. Here’s bits and pieces of my amazing year!

Attended a beer festival in Regensburg, Germany – called the “Regensburger Dult”.

Climbed many stairs to the “Walhalla” – also in Regensburg, Germany.

Toured the Neuschwanstein Castle (the castle you see before a Disney movie starts) – in Schwangau, Germany.

Hiked Harder Kulm in Interlaken, Switzerland.

Visited Duamo di Milano in Milan, Italy.

Went island hopping in Venice and visited the most colorful island in the world – Burano, Italy.

Walked the entire Colosseum in Rome.

Went paragliding through the Swiss Alps in Switzerland.

   Spent Halloween in New Mexico.

Danced around the streets of New Orleans.

Wandered around St. Louis, Missouri.

Walked around the massive Meteor Crater located in Winslow, Arizona.

Hiked through the desert for 2 days to experience killer waterfalls like THIS.

  Stopped at the Grand Canyon.

Dangled my feet off the edge at Horseshoe Bend.

Felt like I was on Mars at Antelope Canyon.

Hiked in water up to my thighs at The Narrows.

Dangling my feet after hiking one of the most dangerous hikes in America – Angels Landing
Hiked around Maroon Bells in Aspen – made my way to Crater Lake in the pouring rain.

Spent a hot day sunbathing at the lighthouse  in Ludington.

  Walked Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Saw Park Güell in Barcelona.
 Climbed rocks atop Angels Landing.

Strolled around the markets and ate dinner At the Navigli canals of Milan.
Walked around Lofthus, Norway with my beautiful host family and dog Kira.
